Photo 1: Cape Dutch Quarters Guest- House.
Photo 2: The Honeymoon Suite: This is the guesthouse’s deluxe king-size room, with a king-size 4-poster bed, in addition to a single ‘day’ bed. The room is opulently and tastefully decorated with art and antiques, and is furnished with a large cupboard, dressing table, and sofa area, and is fully equipped as standard. The en-suite bathroom boasts under floor heating, a honeymoon-sized bathtub and a separate shower.
Photo 3: Executive suite: This king-size room in the guesthouse has a king-size bed. The room is tastefully decorated in a Country-style with art and antiques, and is furnished with a wardrobe, dressing table and a sofa/lounge area, and is fully equipped as per standard. The en-suite shower/wet room is outfitted with antique brass taps and handmade tiles, and has a private door opening onto the garden and pool.

Photo 5: Family suite: This is the guesthouse king-size bedroom, with a separate twin room. The en-suite bath/wet-room has an extra long bath, lovely open shower, and boasts antique brass taps and handmade tiles.
Photo 6: Travellers Lodge and office Cape Dutch Quarters. The office from Cape Dutch Quarters has a small tourist information centre and upstairs we have our travellers lodge, what our budget accommodation is. The Travellers lodge has 5 rooms, with 3 en-suite bedrooms and 2 shared bathroom.
Photo 7: Double photo from the family suite. This fully equipped Tulbagh self-catering unit in sleeps 2 in an open plan living/kitchen area, with an en suite bath and shower room. Accommodation can be either self-catering or B & B.
Photo 9: Coach House: House 20 Church, a newly renovated and refurbished cottage, is a delightful conversion from a 19th century coach house and stable. The original grand Cape Dutch house, to which this out building belonged, was sadly demolished in the 1960s, leaving the building set in a beautiful private garden. The cottage sleeps a maximum of 3 people.
Photo 10: Swimming pool Cape Dutch Quarters. Our beautiful neo-classically inspired swimming pool is a life saver after a hot summer’s day. The pool lapa/covered pool terrace seats 12 comfortably and features large day beds, relaxing sofas and thick padded upholstery.

Photo 12: The Breakfast Room, Cape Dutch Quarters. Breakfast at the Tulbagh Country Guest House is always a treat. Served in the grand dining room on a table spread with antique crockery, silver cutlery – and always accompanied by Mozart! Our guesthouse’s 3-course ‘Country Breakfast’ has won appraisals in publications from several countries such as the New Yorker magazine and the Lonely Planet. During the winter months, breakfast is served in the guest-house’s more intimate farm-style kitchen next to a blazing hearth.
