African Roots Guest House
We are well on our way to autumn and hope your year has started off with a bang and that you have had a great start to 2013. We have recently undertaken some renovations and refurbishing to the guest house and would like to update you.
African Roots Guest House is a tranquil guesthouse catering for business and leisure accommodation. We offer you a quiet, comfortable and affordable stay with warm hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere. Situated perfectly between the city centre and the established suburbs of Bendor and Welgelegen the guesthouse is close to a variety of cinemas, restaurants and malls which are located within easy travel distance.
A variety of accommodation is catered for to suit different needs and all units have individual entrances onto the garden and pool. The upmarket rooms have their own lounge and fireplace and are stylishly furnished with a range of antique and contemporary furniture and local artwork. Secure parking with remote access control is provided. The guesthouse offers a 24-hr wireless internet zone operated on a voucher system.
Our in-house restaurant at African Roots is called PAUSE. PAUSE offers a set menu that changes daily depending on guests dietary requirements as well as the availability of fresh produce. The staff are more than willing to adapt the menu and will try to do their best to meet your requirements.
All units have individual entrances onto the garden or pool area. Breakfast is included and dinner is served on request. Double rate is for two people on a Bed and Breakfast basis. All units are equipped with a television (SABC 1, 2 & 3, ETV, MNET, Movie Magic 1 & 2 and Super Sport 1, 2 & 3). Coffee and Tea facilities provided in all rooms as well as a honesty-bar stocked with a variety of wine, beers, soft drinks and snacks.
