FINGER ON THE PULSE – LIGHTS…CAMERA…ACTION!!
The Pulse Africa offices are a hive of activity this week as the Figure One Films and Go Simple teams start shooting our latest sales videos.
IN THE FIELD:
One thing that we pride ourselves on here at Pulse Africa is our extensive and first-hand knowledge of the properties that we sell; so when Hayward’s Grand Safari Event and Expedition Company extended an invitation for us to go and view their camp in the Dinokeng Region, we jumped at the chance to do just that – cameras, make-up and crew in tow. It only took a couple of drinks for the girls to warm up to the cameras…
Hayward’s is set in the Bobbejaansberg Private Nature Reserve, approximately 24km north-east of Pretoria. It is extraordinary to think that just half an hour from a major city you can be in a wildlife area- we watched herds of eland and wildebeest, loved the delightful families of warthog and heard the jackals start calling as the sun went down. Quite apart from being the perfect setting for Pulse Africa on location, it is ideal as a conference venue or for someone looking to have a party with a difference. They can and will arrange anything you ask for; in style and with a smile. Contact dave@africantravelsolutions.com for more detail.
BACK AT THE OFFICE:
The crew were setting up at first light ready to film the team in action. Make-up artists make us look even more gorgeous whilst the production team ensures the set is just right. It’s pretty exciting to say nothing of a little nerve wracking to get in front of the camera for the first time, but our team took to it like a duck to water… Watch this space!
All this as we are busy putting the final touches to our clients Christmas holiday plans and making plans for some of our own. Sandi is off to Three Tree Hill Lodge, a delightful spot at Spioenkop in Natal. Owner run, this wonderful family lodge is one of our favourites. Delicious food; friendly, smiling staff, fascinating Anglo-Boer war tours and horseriding are right on your doorstep. Further afield are the Drakensberg mountains offering hikes, walks and breathtaking scenery.
Sandi’s stay here will be a Christmas to remember.
