Itinerary in brief:
Day 1: Meet and greet by your personal guide upon arrival at the Windhoek International Airport. Transfer to the city and check in at Safari Hotel.A short sightseeing tour through the capital will take place. Spend your first evening in Namibia at own leisure.
Day 2: After breakfast the tour follows the main road B2 via Karibib and Usakos to the coastal town Swakopmund. Arrival is around lunchtime. After a short town trip check in at Cornerstone Guesthouse..The rest of the day is to your own disposal..
Day 3: An early start to Walvis Bay for a Seal & Dolphin cruise on a catamaran is on the morning’s program. Enjoy the marine life in the lagoon area, while sparkling wine, fresh oysters and snacks will be served. Back in Swakopmund, you will have the afternoon at your own leisure .
Day 4: The Namib Desert is crossed from Swakopmund via Walvis Bay to the Kuiseb Pass, a spectacular view of the Kuiseb Canyon, continuing via Solitaire to a lodge about 40 km from Sesriem where you will spend the night. At Little Sossus Lodge –Dinner and breakfast.
Day 5:Early morning drive to the Sossusvlei dunes and to experience some of the highest sand dunes in the world, hopefully highlighted by a sighting of game. Visit the Sesriem Canyon,. The main building and the chalets of Namib Desert Lodge are spread out along the foot of the fossilised dunes of the ancient Namib. The afternoon is at your own leisure.
Day 6: After breakfast drive back via the Remhoogte Pass and Rehoboth to Windhoek and a last minute shopping spree before you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight back home.
