THE SAFARI COLLECTION is best described in one word: diversity! Cara and Ilse have just returned from hosting the Classics Kenya Educational and here are some of their highlights:
• GIRAFFE MANOR, Nairobi: Feeding giraffe by hand! Surreal!
• SOLIO LODGE, Laikipia: Conservancy means having the freedom to go on drives at any time. Incredible wildlife density and activities outside the conservation area.
• SASAAB, Samburu: Community land with drives in the Samburu National Park. Camel rides, walks and Samburu interaction.
• SALA’S CAMP, Maasai Mara: World renowned wildlife reserve. Unique location means exclusive sightings.
• OVERALL: The food was incredibly light and fresh throughout – everything was prepared with creativity and care and it was a definite highlight. Management and staff were welcoming and charming, and we found ourselves saying “Asante sana” multiple times per day, always answered back with “Karibu sana”. The wildlife and activities were brilliant and we cannot wait to return.
