Prince William considering Cape Town for his stag du!
His brother Prince Harry and their friends were today reported to be considering Cape Town as a possible venue.
William and Harry were in South Africa last June on their first joint royal duties overseas – watching the World Cup, helping with England‘s failed bid for the 2018 tournament and promoting their charity work in southern Africa.
The brothers also motorcycled across South Africa in 2008 in a charity ride, and each has spoken of his love for the continent which allows them to be “anonymous”.
William proposed to Miss Middleton in a log cabin in a Kenyan national park last October.
Today the Daily Mail suggested that William’s willingness to help his friend Guy Pelly, 29, repair a broken relationship could lead to a stag party in Cape Town. Pelly – who is organising the event with Prince Harry and Tom Inskip – split last year from Susanna Warren, 22, and was said to be devastated when she announced plans to move back to South Africa.
A friend said: “Guy is convinced that if they decide to go to Cape Town, it would keep him in with Susanna. After all, there would be trips over there to recce things and a lot of liaising.” Pelly, a former partner in Mayfair nightclub Mahiki, is believed to be planning to host part of the stag party there
