Epic Enabled – ‘accessible safaris & travel in South Africa’
Epic Enabled offers family friendly, wheelchair accessible safari holidays to the physically disabled traveller in a special adapted overland vehicle with professional hydraulic lift. Our tours visit the famous Kruger National Park, an exiting Private Game Reserve, the scenic Garden Route and day tours in Johannesburg (“Egoli” – City of Gold) and Cape Town (Mother City) in South Africa. Everybody is welcome; individuals, friends, families & groups – able & disabled travellers. Our safari includes close animal interaction, taste traditional foods, see the famous African sunsets, have fun and lots more…
Epic Expeditions has been running since 1992 as an overland company. We have seen very few ‘enabled’ travellers enjoying the wide range of pleasures as an ‘overlander’. Being aware that there are many ‘enabled’ people who are able and wish to experience the same sense of adventure and thrill which ‘overlanding’ has to offer the concept of Epic Enabled was born (2001). In late 2010 we extended our dream and opened our fully accessible Epic Guest House in Cape Town.
