Bliss Cottage

Bliss Cottage sleeps 4 guests in 2 separate bedrooms. The main bedroom (with queen-size double bed, HD TV and electronic safe) opens onto a private enclosed patio. The second bedroom has two single beds.  All linen, towels and beach towels supplied.

There is one bathroom with bath/shower combo, washbasin & toilet.  The lounge/dining-room has a flat-screen high-definition TV with DSTV (satellite) & DVD and opens onto a lovely private enclosed outdoor patio with built-in braai/barbeque.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher & Britta water purifier.  In the lock-up single garage you have the convenience of a washing machine & dryer. Hairdryer, iron & ironing board also supplied.

FOOD & ENTERTAINMENT

Within a radius of 1-10 km you’ll find a wide variety of bars, restaurants, shopping malls, cinemas, a very well-equipped Virgin Active gym as well as two links golf courses.

The beachfront is a year-round hotspot for jogging, cycling, roller-blading, and dining-with-a-view.  On nearby Rietvlei nature reserve you can windsurf and water-ski, while the many beaches in the vicinity are a favourite hangout for local surfers, windsurfers and kite-boarders.  Mountain-biking and hiking are available at nearby Koeberg Nature Reserve where you can spot Springbok, Eland, Zebra, Bontebok, Blesbok, angulated tortoises and even the odd Cape Cobra, to name but a few.  In summer the Tableview water funpark (4 km) is sure to delight children of all ages.

Nearest shopping/entertainment malls: Seaside Village 1.5 km; Bayside Center 3 km; Canal Walk 10 km; V&A Waterfront 18 km.  Most of these are easily accessible with My CiTi feeder route bus service.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Only 400 m from the front door, you can hop onto the frequent My CiTi bus service at the Shell Road feeder station.  This means that you can get to and from the airport without a vehicle (depending on luggage), enjoy a stress-free ride to the city centre, the Gardens & the V&A Waterfront where a myriad of tourist and sight-seeing opportunities are on offer.  Here you can also catch the ever popular City Hop-on, Hop-off double-decker open-top sightseeting bus – the easy, fun way to explore the city and Peninsula’s sights.

SUMMER HIGH SEASON – 2011/2012

1 Dec – 28 Feb :  R1200 per day /R7 000 per week /R16 500 per month

MID SEASON – 2012

1 March – 30 April:  R1000 per day /R6 000 per week /R14 000 per month

BARGAIN SEASON – 2011/2012

1 May – 30 Nov: R800 per day /R5 000 per week /R12 500 per month

DEPOSIT, TERMS & CONDITIONS

20% deposit payable (by direct electronic bank transfer or credit card) within 48 hours of booking being confirmed by us via our internal booking system. Should transfer not take place, we will assume booking is cancelled. The remainder of accommodation fee will be payable at least 48 hours before receipt of keys (for bank transfers and credit card payments).For cash payments, full balance must be handed over on receipt of keys.

REFUNDS

• 90% refund if cancellation received 8 weeks prior to occupation date
• 50% refund if cancellation received between 4 and 8 weeks prior to occupation date
• 25% refund if cancellation received between 2 and 4  weeks prior to occupation date
• No refund if cancellation received less than 7 days to occupation date.

All guests and/or visitors to Bliss Cottage make use of the premises and its contents at their own risk and Bliss Cottage, its owners and/or employees or agents shall not be held responsible or accountable for any loss or damage of any nature whatsoever experienced by any guest or visitor to these premises.
