Cape Grace
Cape Grace sits on its own quay in Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront, with a working dock on one side and a multi-millionaire yacht playground on the other. Our recent refashioning, inspired by Cape Town’s heritage, juxtaposes modern and period with hand-painted murals and silk drapes, Cape artefacts and a dose of quirk and wit through chandeliers hanging with unusual objects. What distinguishes Cape Grace decor is the local craftsmanship that speaks of attention to detail and dedication; qualities that embody every Cape Grace experience.
Each of the 120 luxurious rooms and suites with views of Table Mountain or the harbour, are decorated differently, but common features include fresh flowers, robes and slippers in the dressing room, separate bath & shower, private mini bar, flatscreen TV, iPod docking station, room safe and wireless connectivity.
Dine wherever the mood takes you at Cape Grace; oysters & champagne on the pool terrace, soup and snack lunch or sweet afternoon treats in the library, a romantic meal in your suite, or à la carte in Signal Restaurant where classic dishes are touched by South African flavours. A favourite al-fresco spot is beside Bascule Whisky, Wine and Cocktail Bar, flanking the private marina. Our 56-foot yacht ‘Spirit of the Cape’ is moored alongside and is available for charters, sunset cruises and even a whisky tasting, sampling from the Bascule Bar’s largest collection of whiskies south of the equator.
The Spa at Cape Grace has its own menu of temptations, with innovative treatments incorporating African products and ancient methods. Sweeping views of Table Mountain, Cape Town city skyline and the yacht marina will send you into sensory pleasure overload.
With a genuine passion to champion distinctive standards in service, Cape Grace is dedicated to surpassing expectations and making your stay, whether work or pleasure, the most memorable ever.
