Casa del Mar Bed and Breakfast
Welcome to the Casa del Mar B & B, your “home from home” establishment, the ideal place to unwind in comfort. Situated in a secure environment with a sparkling pool, close to shopping centers, restaurants and the hub of the “Dolphin Coast“.
Accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms, all sea facing with sliding doors to balcony and ceiling fans. Rooms 1 and 3 have Queen Bed accommodation and en suite bathrooms with both Bath and Shower, Room 2 has twin bed accommodation and seperate bathroom but with shower only, toilet and wash basin. All rooms have DSTV, tea/coffee trays.
Breakfast is inclusive of tariff and is served in the sunny dining room. A Braai facility is also avail on site next to the swimming pool.
Swimming is possible almost all year round and swimming beaches are within a few kilometers. A variety of shops, restaurants and banks are within walking distance. Major tourist attractions are a short drive away. We boast a few excellent golf courses and the newly opened venue “The Kingdom” provides a cultural experience for overseas visitors.
The newly opened King Shaka International airport is approx 14kms away.
Ballito is approx 40mins from Hluhluwe Game Reserve and the St. Lucia wetlands. Boat rides to see the dolphins and micro light flights are available for visitors.
The majestic Drakensberg mountain range is also a magical experience and only a few hours drive away along the N2 highway.
Directions From N2
If traveling on the N2 North towards Stanger, take the Ballito (exit 210) turn off and turn Right at stop street and travel past Lifestyle shopping centre on your Right.
You will pass through two traffic circles and at the third traffic circle (BP garage in front of you) turn Left into Simbithi Drive and then 1st Right into Leonora Drive.
Directions From M4
If traveling along M4 at the traffic circle turn Right towards the BP garage at the 2nd traffic circle turn Left into Simbithi Drive and then 1st Right into Leonora Drive. Pass the municipal offices on your Right and Casa del Mar is the 1st driveway on your Right after these offices. The B&B is at the top end of Leonora Drive. The driveway is steep and better to drive past the establishment and double back and drive up from this direction if visiting for the 1st time.
