Less that 10 minutes drive from University of Cape Town, Belmont Square, Kirstenbosch gardens, Kelvin Grove club, Great Westerford, Baxter theatre, leading hospitals and schools. 15 to 20 minute drive from the Airport, City Centre, Table Mountain and other major Tourist destinations, Cape Town International Convention Centre, V & A Waterfront, FIFA Soccer Stadium, golf courses, wine farms and golden beaches.

Our elegantly stylish, spacious en suite bedrooms have comfortable beds and pillows, DSTV decoders, Flat screen TV’s, well stocked fridges and snack baskets, tea and coffee making facilities. Microwave ovens and toasters making rooms semi-catering and suitable for long staying guests. Safe for valuables, desks/dressing tables, heaters, electric blankets, hot water bottles and over head fans. Air conditioner in Blue Room. Free Wi-Fi in rooms and throughout the house. Fluffy white towels and bathrobes, percale linen, hairdryers, clock-radios/iPod docking stations, Charlotte Rhys toiletries, pool towels. Guest Laptop in the lounge area. Mr Deliver and Butler’s Pizza menus in the rooms. Dinner on request.

The Leopard Room – 2 double beds –full en suite bathroom – lounge with access to pool patio – microwave oven – Mt Views
The Ethnic Suite – King or twin beds in bedroom – separate lounge/study room – 2 single beds can be added to lounge/study area making this room suitable for families to share. Access to Lavender garden with outside table and chairs – large shower en suite bathroom – microwave oven.
The Blue Room – 1 king or twin (extra length) – Large full en suite bathroom with oval bath. Microwave oven. Air conditioner.
The Mt View Room – 1 king or twin – access to lounge patio – 3 seater couch in lounge area – Mountain views – en suite bathroom with shower/bath – microwave oven.
The Floral Room – 1 king or twin – access to lounge patio –full en suite bathroom -microwave oven – mountain views
The Garden Room – 1 king or twin – access to pool and garden patios with outside table and chairs – 6 seater bar area – self catering (microwave oven and toaster). En suite bathroom with shower/bath.
Smaller luxury rooms:
The River Room – 1 king extra length – open plan full bathroom – toilet is not separate – access to pool patio- river and mountain views – Microwave oven.
The Colonial Room – 1 double bed – large shower en suite bathroom. Microwave oven.
Guest room at 26 Esme Rd. – This room is situated at 26 Esme Rd, Owner’s private House. The room has a private entrance and has all the comforts you would expect from a room at the Main guest house. 1 double bed with en suite Bathroom with bath/shower. Desk, DSTV, flat screen TV, Free Wi-fi, tea tray, mini bar fridge and microwave oven. Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast in the comfort of their room or a full English breakfast at the main guest house which is 5 houses away at 14 Esme Rd.
Air conditioners: Only The Blue room has an air conditioner. Our other rooms are cool as they have high volume ceilings and standing or overhead fans.

Deposit and cancellation policy:
Please read our Cancellation and non arrival policy before confirming your booking.
Deposit = 100% deposit for 6 days or less.
For more than 7 days a 50% deposit is required with 100% payment due one month before arrival.
If cancelled for whatever reason you will be liable for full payment whether we have a deposit from you or not. All bookings are binding as a confirmation of the booking. Companies/Travel agencies operating on a Bill back basis will also be liable to pay cancellation fees if cancelled whether we have a voucher or not. Please make sure your clients are aware of our policy before accepting our accommodation at our establishment.
We require the deposit/full payment to be paid by EFT or you need to furnish us with full credit card details to confirm the booking. Credit Card No. with expiry date and CCV no.
Like all Hotels and Guest Houses we have a Strict Cancellation policy to protect us against cancellations. We only have a few rooms and cannot make up business lost. We have a live calendar with Nightsbridge which connects too many sites around the world giving instant online availability. Once a room is booked it is no longer available to sell on these sites.
Cancellations more than 30 days prior to visit forfeit 50% of the total booking quote.
Cancellations between 30 and 15 days prior to the visit forfeit 75% of the total booking quote.
Cancellations between 14 and 1 days prior to the visit forfeit 100% of the total booking quote.
For non-arrival/no show/premature departure 100% of total booking quoted is payable.
Minimum stay over Xmas, New Year and Easter – 3 days
We do not pay third parties for any other services on your behalf. If monies are deposited into our account incorrectly we do not refund until cleared with our bank.
Children under 10 years pay 50% of adult rate when sharing with an adult.
No smoking in rooms/guest house. Smoking is allowed outside

Take the N2 into town, all the way to the De Waal Interchange/ Groote Schuur, follow the signs (Left) for M3 Muizenberg. Take the Second off-ramp on the M3 South, M146 Princess Anne Ave: Follow Princess Anne Ave/Klipper Rd all the way down to Main Rd (M4). Keep to the left (Rondebosch) on Princess Anne/Klipper Road. Do not go right to Newlands.
At the T – Junction turn right at the traffic lights into Main Rd. Continue along Main Road past Westerford Building on the right, The Spur and Butlers Pizza on the Right, on the left the turnoff to Newlands and Sports Science. At the next set of traffic lights, just after the Newlands Swimming pool (on your right big orange and green pavilion); on your left is SA Breweries/ Old Newlands Holiday Inn now called The Southern Suns Hotel), turn right into Sans Souci Road and first left again, into Esme Road. We are no. 14 on the right hand side.
Directions from N1:
Follow the N1 towards town. You will pass Canal Walk/Century City shopping centre on your right.
Take the M5 Muizenburg/Airport turnoff on the left. Keep to the right and follow the M5 until you will see a turnoff to the left which says Pinelands/Airport. Do not take this turn off, or you will go to the Airport.
Take the 2nd fly off on the left which says Cape Town. The Road curves and straightens and you should have the mountain in front of you. The signs say Kirstenbosch Gardens/Rhodes Ave – keep in this lane. Take the left hand glide off to M3 Muizenburg. If you go right you will go into Cape Town. (This is the De Waal Interchange/Groote Schuur)
Continue on the M3 and take the Second off-ramp on the M3 South, M146 Princess Anne Ave: Follow Princess Anne Ave/Klipper Rd all the way down to Main Rd (M4).
