A delight to the senses with the warm curves of yesteryear supporting the modern edges brought in to maximize the spectacular ocean vista from our spacious dining area and sea-facing suites.

This beautiful old heritage building was given a new lease of life by the local architectural design team of Stretford Holdings under Mike Street. The interior was guided by the creative eye of Petta Mc Lellan who ran her own successful interior design business in Johannesburg, and now also falls under the Stretford banner.

Hampton’s location is in close proximity to many amenities. Some of East London’s finest restaurants are within walking distance as well as Virgin Active gym and the East London ICC. Transport to and from the East London airport can be arranged.

Accommodation

Sea Facing
The 4 Sea-facing suites, en-suite, and with air-conditioning currently being installed are beautifully appointed with French doors to a private balcony overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Standard Rooms
Our 9 Standard rooms are no less comfortable and two of these offer twin beds for convenient corporate travel. The other rooms all offer Queen sized comfort and a cozy sanctuary.

Self-catering
The two popular self-catering suites are fully equipped for longer stays with kitchenettes and sleep four per unit very comfortably.

The first has two bedrooms (queen and two singles) and is completely private. The second is in the main house and has one queen-sized bedroom with a fold-out sofa in the open-plan living area.

Breakfasts are available in the main dining room upon request.

All rooms are en-suite and air conditioning is standard. The rooms are spotlessly clean and immaculately finished. The Hampton offers off-street parking and night security.
