The visit would not be the same without climbing or taking the Cable Car to the top of the Table Mountain with views to Robben Island which is a must for the history buffs. Then take the ultimate in a safari in the oldest and best Wildlife Park in Southern Africa – the Kruger National Park. No trip to South Africa would be complete without a visit to a township, and Soweto is the largest and most vibrant of them all.

Today traveling around the vastness of South Africa is a real pleasure, with SAA the national airline carrier and several low-cost airlines operating throughout, linking all the major towns and cities as well as the safari parks.

The country has an excellent road network and in most areas of a very good standard which makes it convenient to hire a car also for UK visitors driving on the left hand side of the road. You will need around 3 weeks to take in all the best sights but will find you will return again and again to task in all it has to offer.
