Brenton Beach House is owned by Derrick Coetzer and Jean Michel Bayle (Multiple world motorcycle champion). The guesthouse offers you warm hospitality and personalized service. Golfers can test their skills on some of the world class courses such as Pezula or Simola within twenty minutes drive.

We will assist you to plan your activities and excursions in the area and make golf and dinner bookings on your behalf. You could spend your day sight-seeing or shopping in town, walk down to the nearby white sand beach or just laze at the pool. There is a comfortable guest lounge with a gas fireplace and honesty bar.

Brenton is for relaxation. It has to be one of the quietest suburbs of Knysna. The sounds of the waves breaking on Castle rock and the singing of the numerous birds is what you can expect.

The five kilometre beach with its unspoilt white sands stretches out to Buffalo bay. Ideal for a walk or for those who may prefer to run. Swim in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean in the company of the endangered African Black Oystercatcher. Seek out some of the most unspoilt natural beauties of the Ocean, lagoon and mountains. Green and lush all year round with indigenous flowers, trees, flora and fynbos.

Brenton offers peace and tranquillity in a magnificent location while being just a short scenic drive to Knysna.

Meander along the cliffs tops at Fisherman’s’ Walk and watch the whales and dolphins in the surf. The perfect spot to watch the sunset with friends and a glass of good white wine. Clamber over Castle Rock and feel the cool spray on your skin. Walk in the forest and spy the Blackheaded Oriolein the tree tops.

 
Enjoy the sight of free roaming guinea fowl with their broods of summer chicks and the wild bush buck on an early evening. Spot the tiny Greater Double Collared Sunbird in all his colourful glory and listen to the sound of the Nightjar in the dark warm nights. Have a close encounter with Lake Benton’s spectacular wild peacocks surrounded by their harem and offspring. The Brenton Blue butterfly should also be on your list of things to-do. Be aware of the wild tortoise slowly crossing the road and glimpse the elusive mongoose.
