Accommodtion
We offer stylish and comfortable 4-star Accommodation. Luxurious Air-Conditioned Units with River View, TV, fridge and coffee/tea facilities. All rooms en-suite.
The Apartments and Chalets are equipped with kitchenettes and braai-facilities on the patio for self-catering. Bedding and Towels are supplied in all units. Please bring own swim towels.
Breakfast and other meals optional in Apartments and Chalets; Double Rooms is breakfast included, other meals optional.
Caravan And Camping Sites
Each of the 10 Caravan and Camping sites have their own private bathroom, bath & shower and scullery. Each site has a power point.
Rates are per day or part of the day. Maximum of 6 persons and 1 vehicle per site.

Each Camping Site has it’s Private bathroom (bath & shower), Scullary and Power point. Most sites have a river view and are shaded.

Activities
Over 30km of fishing waters with diverse bird life. As one of the country’s primary freshwater fishing areas, Douglas host seven of the most important freshwater fish species.
If you are lucky, you may even spot the Vaal River’s own Big Five: the Otter, African Fish Eagle, Giant Kingfisher, Goliath Heron and Iguana.
Breakfast and meals are served in DIE PONT RESTAURANT where you experience more than delicious food, experience nature at it’s best.
River Boat:
Broadwater also harbours the DaRiva HOUSEBOAT – The idyllic place to relax with comfortable accommodation and a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, stove, hot water).
Two bedrooms, open lounge area with six sleeper beds, kitchen and bathroom. Bed Linen and heating in winter included.
The spacious top deck has a gas braai and a skipper is at your service. Meals are optional.
For an ultra good time, remember: towels, binoculars, bird book, sun hats, torch, insecticide and fishing-tackle.

Our beautiful conference venue is designed to cater for all special expectations. The venue is small enough to feel personal but big enough to satisfy all your needs, always ensuring the same quality service. Equipment includes data projector, white board and flip chart. Menus are flexible to suit your specific need and budget.
The venue is situated on the same premises as accommodation for about 100 people, as well as Die Pont River Restaurant.
80 Kilometres from Kimberley Airport, together with the flexibility of our facilities make Broadwater equally suitable for day conferences, meetings, product launches, breakfast presentations, company breakaways, strategizing meetings, team-building and workshops alike.

Directions:
From Kimberley: Take R357 to Douglas. ±80km from Kimberley, cross the Riet River Bridge. After 5km cross railway line. Directly after railway line turn right on dirt road at the Broadwater sign. About 1 km dirt road to Broadwater entrance on left hand side.
From Douglas: Take R357 to Kimberley. About 15km from Douglas, turn left on gravel road for 2km. Broadwater entrance on left hand side.
