Buffelsdrift Game Lodge
Buffelsdrift Game Lodge is a malaria free, luxury tented game farm at the foothills of the Swartberg Mountain, situated 6.5km outside Oudtshoorn en route to the Cango Caves. At the Lodge you will find pristine Bushveld, lush vegetation and a 5ha dam that provides a haven for game, and more than 217 bird species.
Our a la Carte restaurant is managed by one of the Southern Cape’s top Food and Beverage managers. Seats 150 and has a wooden deck overlooking the waterhole. This is the perfect place to be sipping cocktails, whilst watching the sunset over the hills and listening to the hippos playing below.
We offer 9 luxury tents (waterfront) and 16 luxury tents each one with its own en-suite bathroom and private outdoor shower, air-conditioning, mini-bar, digital safe, tea / coffee making facilities and a game viewing deck.
We offer Bushveld and Horseback Safaris, Elephant riding, feeding and walking experiences.
Our wedding chapel is situated on the edge of the water hole with a wide wooden deck as entrance.
