Shrouded by a beautiful garden with lavender bushes and olive trees in the front and lemon trees with a trellised garden at the back, the stucco plaster Villa transports one to another place in time. If you linger on the terrace, the sweeping views of Pretoria will snatch your breath away. At Castello, you are our welcomed, honoured guest.

Sixteenth century splendour is enhanced by every modern amenity. Castello Di Monte boasts Jacuzzi and jet showers and well-proportioned en-suites. Your comfort is enhanced with DSTV / Cable, minibar, under floor heating, air-conditioning, in-room safe, wireless and of course, tea / coffee making facilities.

WEDDING INFORMATION – 2011

Thank you for selecting Castello Di Monte as a potential venue for your special day.

We can accommodate a maximum of 30 guests.

OPTION 1

Breakfast or Lunch Wedding;

Maximum of 30 people for a wedding ceremony and reception. Menu’s available on request.

• A venue fee of R4 500.00 (Ceremony & Reception) will be levied for 1 – 30 people (R3 500 for Reception only)
• Venue Fee includes: tables, linen, cutlery, crockery, glassware, red carpet and the use of our central music system.
  • Breakfast Menu @ R95.00 (3 Course Set Menu) or R120.00 (Continental Buffet & Set Hot Breakfast) per person
  • Lunch Selection Menu @ R290.00 per person (3 Course Menu)
  • Menu prices may change without prior notice, but will not be subject to change after a reservation has been confirmed.

OPTION 2

Late Afternoon / Evening Wedding (Exclusive use of the Villa);

Maximum of 30 people for a wedding ceremony and reception. Menu’s available on request.

• Exclusive Use of the entire Villa is compulsory and the fee is R25 000.00, which includes Ceremony & Reception venues, all 9 rooms (sleeps 18 pax) with breakfast the following morning. Check-in time is 14h00 and Check-out time is 11h00.
• Dinner Selection Menu @ R290.00 per person (3 Course Menu). Menu prices may change without prior notice, but will not be subject to change after a reservation has been confirmed.
• Venue includes: Set-up of tables, linen, cutlery, crockery, glassware, waiters, red carpet and the use of our central music system.

OPTION 3

Wedding photo shoot only;

• A fee of R2000.00 is charged and includes a room to get ready and the use of the Villa for a photo shoot. However, certain venues might not be available if booked by another function. Booking is compulsory and subject to availability.
• Room & Venue will only be available for 4 hours.

OPTION 4

Wedding Elsewhere: Get Ready @ Castello, Take photos before the wedding and Stay Over;

Package is R 3700.00 per room and includes the following:

Arrive @ 10h00 in the Honeymoon Suite, get ready for your big day, take photos and return after the wedding to spend the night at Castello with a bottle of Sparkling wine & a gift. Breakfast is included the following morning and check out time @ 11h00. Booking is compulsory & subject to availability.

You could add a snack platter & Sparkling wine for you and your bride’s maids. Contact office for more information and costs involved.

OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION:

• Our Kitchen is outsourced and the price of the menu is per person. We have a Selection Menu available for you to choose from; however our Chef would be delighted to compile a specific menu to meet your requirements.
• Please note that menu prices may change without prior notice, but will not be subject to change after a reservation has been confirmed.
• In terms of beverages, you are welcome to bring in your own wines and sparkling wines at a corkage fee of R50.00 per bottle. You can also select wines from our wine list.
• All other beverages are to be bought from Castello Di Monte in the form of either a cash-, limited or full open bar.  Beverage prices are subject to change without prior notice.
• Please note that a 15% handling fee is added on to any additional orders placed by Castello Di Monte for your wedding.
• All decorations are additional and are to be organized by you. Should you need to have any recommendations on florists, photographers or videographers, please do not hesitate to ask us, since we do have a preferred services’ list.
• A 10% Service Fee will be added to food & beverage costs on the final bill.
