Impalila Island Lodge
Our unique island is situated at the meeting place of two mighty African rivers, The Chobe & the Zambezi, and four countries, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Activities include game viewing by boat on the Chobe river or cruise along the Zambezi River searching out water birds, Fly fishing for tiger fish & bream, Afro-botanical walks on the islands and visits to traditional villages.
Eight en-suite chalets with private decks & views; a main complex built to incorporate a massive baobab tree with lounge, dining & bar area, curio shop, and a small reference library and an infinity swimming pool overlooking the Mambova rapids. Excellent cuisine alfresco style in a variety of romantic settings under the baobab canopy or perhaps a picnic on a wild island. Impalila is an experience of sensory fulfilment.
Children 6 years and older accepted. Younger children by arrangement only. Children should be under the care of a parent/guardian at all times. Child rate applies to sharing with parents and Full adult rate applies if in own room.
All meals and teas/coffees, boat transfer, Insurance for emergency medical evacuation, VAT, Tourism Levy are included.
Activities and all drinks, laundry, transfers not specified, visa fees are excluded.
