Recently revamped and refreshed, Mandalay B & B accommodation offers spacious en-suite, air-conditioned bedrooms, all with private entrances, an electronic safe and comfortably equipped with a radio/alarm clock, a work space with a telephone and WIFI connectivity, a stocked bar-fridge as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Hair dryers are available on request from the office.
In addition, Mandalay offers a laundry service at a nominal fee and delicious, home-made dinners are prepared on request. Children are more than welcome.

Mandalay Bed and Breakfast offers 2 large en-suite rooms which each contain 3 separate beds which can be arranged as 3 single beds or as a kingsize bed and a separate single bed. Ideal for families with small children. Each room has it’s own distinctive decor personality and all have private entrances, air- conditioning, an electronic safe, DSTV and a radio/ alarm clock. Rooms also have a work space with a telephone and WIFI connectivity, perfect for those working after-hours, a stocked bar-fridge as well as tea and coffee making facilities. 3 -twin bed rooms:
Mandalay has 3 Twin en-suite bedrooms, (2 separate beds per room) and as with the three-bedded rooms, each has it’s own distinctive decor personality and private entrance, air- conditioning, an electronic safe, DSTV and a radio/ alarm clock, a work space with a telephone and WIFI connectivity, a stocked bar-fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Laundry facilities are available on request at an additional charge.
4 Double rooms:
The guesthouse also has 4 double en-suite rooms, each with a queen size bed. Each room has it’s own entrance, air- conditioning, an electronic safe, DSTV and a radio/ alarm clock. These rooms also have a work space with a telephone and WIFI connectivity, a stocked bar-fridge as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

Within walking distance of Mr Price Kings Park Rugby Stadium, home of the SHARKS rugby franchise, the magnificent Moses Mabhida sports stadium, built for the 2010 Football World Cup, Kings Park Aquatic Centre with both olympic swimming and water polo / diving pools, an athletic track, a cycling oval and an archery field, Mandalay Bed & Breakfast is the ideal base when visiting Durban for business, leisure or a major sporting event. Mandalay Conference Centre has been the destination of choice for numerous successful conferences, team building sessions, product launches, company meetings and even Christmas parties over the years. Overlooking the garden and pool, this air-conditioned venue comes furnished with a pull-down screen, flip chart and pens, white board, TV and DVD player as standard. Other equipment such as data projectors may be hired in on your behalf.
The room can comfortably accommodate 45 delegates cinema style, 24 U-shape or 36 classroom style. Catering is done either in-house or by professional service providers who are able to cater for all needs, including any special dietary requirements which are advised. And it is only customary to join us in our entertainment area for a couple of sundowners when the business day is done!
