Activities offered at the lodge include boat trips, fishing excursions and game drives toMahangu and Buffalo Game Parks, where you can view over 400 different bird species.

What is unique at Ndhovu Safari Lodge ?

Ndhovu Safari Lodge is the oldest lodge on the okavango river in the caprivi and was established just after Namibia gained its independence in 1989. For two to three month of the year
we are an island due to the fact that the flow of the river is faster than the Okavango delta can absorb the water, and it is thus forced to overflow the banks of the river into the floodplains.

In our lttle shop you can purchase “Penzo” handpainted crockery.

We offer ten luxury tents, of which one is anchored on the river, each fully equipped with its own en-suite bathroom facilities and a bedside view over the river.

A charming thatched lapa with a bar and a wooden deck also overlooks the river. Meals are served on rosewood and kiaat tables from penzo tableware
