Your hosts Feo and Carol Sachs are retirees with a difference. Feo’s creativity designing houses for more decades than he cares to remember has seamlessly transmuted to writing zany, witty poetry called Clerihews and making assemblages of various kinds. Carol’s the artist and the guest house has become a gallery where her life drawing and abstract paintings are displayed.
TREEHAVEN’s modern architecture nestles in the indigenous gardens overlooking the Piesang River valley, only minutes from the village and golden beaches. Our discerning travelers are overcome with that special feeling that they are ‘in the middle of nowhere, yet around the corner from everywhere’ TREEHAVEN is a place of peace to retreat to after a busy day at play on the Garden Route. Carol and Feo and their staff take pride in their green policy of recycling everything possible and taking measures to save water and electricity.
Built on a steep slope, TREEHAVEN is not for the physically challenged. Rustic paths wind through exuberant ground covered slopes to link apartments.
The three self-catering units allow total independence. Accommodation is flexible with units sleeping 2 to 4 to 6 adults. The layout is ideal for family groups and reunions for up to 10 adults, with a couple of sofa-beds available for the kids. Most important, each unit offers peaceful privacy with rooms opening on to shady patios with barbecue where you can hear the raucous call and often catch a glimpse of the elusive Knysna Loerie (Tauraco corythaix) and scores of other bird species. Your dogs dream holiday destination. Taking your beloved pets on holiday can sometimes not work out as well as planned. At TREEHAVEN our pet friendly environment with enclosed “pockets of garden” frees inquisitive canines to shnuff around for hidden delights, thus enabling you our guest to relax and really enjoy your holiday as well.
General information:
•All units are comfortably furnished and fully equipped with television, linen crockery. If you’re a DSTV addict bring your decoder and smartcard along.
•For late arrivals, essential groceries can be purchased for your account.
•Children of all ages are welcome, trusted babysitter available.
•Units are serviced bi-weekly, if daily domestic service required, please specify.
•Pets welcome, contact Carol for our pet policy.
•Beach Towels available for guests from overseas.
•Units 1 & 2 or all 3 make a great venue for extended families or groups.

Directions to Treehaven:
From George, turn Right from the N2 into Piesang Valley Road (100m before the Shell Ultra City exit) go all the way down the hill to a group of shops on the right and turn Right into Hanois Link at ‘On Tap’ proceed 100m to Y- junction turn Right into Hanois Crescent and find us at No 45. From Port Elizabeth, 200m after Shell ultra City turn left from the N2 into Piesang Valley Road (100m before the Shell Ultra City exit) go all the way down the hill to a group of shops on the right and turn Right into Hanois Link at ‘On Tap’ proceed 100m to Y- junction turn Right into Hanois Crescent and find us at No 45.
