Westlodge Bed & Breakfast

This Victorian style home was designed as a B & B by an architect to give the guests the maximum amount of privacy.

We have collected, predominantly, Oak antique furniture which is on display in our guests’ lounge cum reception area and dining room

We have 5 tastefully decorated bedrooms all of which have full bathrooms with both a bath and shower. There are three garden rooms and two bedrooms upstairs in the main building.

All our bedrooms, with bed configurations ranging from king to twin three-quarter bed size, have electric under blankets on the beds; electric heaters and fans; satellite TV with news, sports and movie channels; hospitality tray and guests amenities. We pride ourselves on our white linen which is 100% cotton, 200 thread count Percale with white towels.

ACTIVITIES

Situated at an elevation of 1420m above sea level, on the edge of the escarpment, in the village of Graskop, we are surrounded by the Drakensberg mountains with Robber’s Pass and Long Tom passes  (2450m) offering magnificent views on a clear day.

Graskop is also situated at the start of the Blyde River Canyon which is the third largest canyon in the world and the largest green canyon in the world. There are numerous waterfalls in the area and the main viewing sites along the canyon include God’s Window (12km); Bourke’s Luck Potholes (38km) and the Three Rondawels (58km) with views of the dam at the bottom.

The beautiful 9 hole (different tees) golf course at Pilgrim’s Rest is 18km away

All the imaginable activities from Zip Lines; White Water rafting; Quad bikes etc are catered for at Hazyview (38km away)

The Kruger National Park is 50km from Westlodge with the choice of entry through either Phabeni or Numbi Gates.
