4 nights Cape Town

B = bed/breakfast G = Golf D = dinner

Day 1: Overnight Cape Town (DB)

Upon arrival in Cape Town you will be met by an Around the Green representative and accompanied on city tour of Cape Town’s CBD (incl. Table Mountain – weather permitting) before being transferred to the Stillness Manor & Spa. This luxury 14 suite Boutique Manor and Spa on the slopes of the Steenberg Mountain is a recently refurbished Dutch manor house overlooking the scenic Constantia Valley with its vineyards and forests stretching all the way to False Bay. Stillness is an ideal location from which to explore the Cape Peninsula and the Winelands.

Facilities include: Spa with sauna, gym & steam room, heated indoor pool, tennis court, full laundry service, satellite TV & CD player in each suite and two outdoor swimming pools.

The rest of the day will be yours to relax, unwind and enjoy dinner at your leisure at the manor house.

Day 2: Overnight Cape Town (BGDB)

After a leisurely breakfast you will be collected and depart for your 1st round of golf at the Clovelly Golf Course. Clovelly has two exceptional 18-hole courses, The Osprey and Black Duck. Nestled in the northeast end of St. John’s, their natural surroundings make you feel like you’re in the middle of the country. Both courses were designed by Graham Cooke, a leading golf course architect. Take in the breathtaking scenery, and try your best to stay out of the water. Our wetlands, duck ponds and rivers have claimed more than their fair share of balls! After your round you will return to the hotel and enjoy dinner on the property.

Day 3: Overnight Cape Town (BGDB)

After breakfast you head to the Steenberg Golf Estate for round 2. This 18 hole championship course designed by Peter Matkovich with a backdrop of vineyards, gardens, forests and mountains which provides the setting for this beautiful exclusive course. Peaceful, uncrowded and secure golfing is designed for your enjoyment. The pristine tees and fairways offer a year round special experience. After your round you will enjoy a wine tasting on the estate before returning to your hotel for dinner.

Day 4: Overnight Cape Town (BGDB)

Royal Cape Golf Club is the host for round 3. This championship course has a very flat parklands layout, but is well maintained and a pleasure to play. You may well be distracted by the lovely views of the surrounding mountains, but maintain your concentration and don’t be deceived by the courses’ apparent easiness. The fairways are narrow, demanding extreme accuracy off the tee, wayward shots can be heavily penalized amongst the trees, and the greens are well bunkered. After your round you will be returned to your hotel.

Day 5:

For your 4th and final round, you depart for the Westlake Golf Course. The first hole eases you into the 6,511-yard course without too much difficulty, but things soon get a little tougher with tight holes cut out of the woods and a green that sits by one of Smith Mountain Lake’s many peaceful coves and inlets. By the time you reach No. 8, you’re prepared for a challenge. After a blind tee shot, the hole quickly doglegs and then falls off to a thin green backed by a swiftly running creek. The remainder of the course presents beautiful and challenging combinations of downhill tee shots and double doglegs, plus an irresistible opportunity or two for heavy hitters to open up.

After your round you head back to the hotel, check out and head to the airport for your flight home.
