Tee to Green

(7 nights Cape Town)

B = bed/breakfast G = Golf D = dinner

Day 1: Overnight Cape Town (B)

Upon arrival in Cape Town you will be met by a representative and enjoy a Cape Town city tour with Table Mountain (weather permitting) before being transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure as this is a wall to wall golf trip.

Day 2: Overnight Cape Town (BGB)

After breakfast you get straight into the swing of things with round 1 at, the must play, Westlake Golf Course. This 18-hole par 72 course is situated against the Amethyst slopes of the Silver Mine Mountains. It is covered with lush vegetation with towering trees lining many of the fairways. Every step affords you a mountain view. After your round you may choose to unwind with an optional wine tasting at Groot Constantia, the oldest wine estate in South Africa, before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: Overnight Cape Town (BGB)

This morning you head for the Rondebosch Golf Club for round 2. Rondebosch Golf Club is perfectly situated for the views of the eastern side of Table Mountain. This Parkland course is extremely popular with visitors from abroad. A large variety of bird life makes this a very enjoyable golf experience. After your round you may choose to spend the afternoon relaxing at the V&A Waterfront or take a trip to visit Robben Island, the prison where Nelson Mandela spent 18 of his 27 year prison sentence.

Day 4: Overnight Cape Town (BGB)

Round 3 finds you at the Mowbray Golf Course, situated in Pinelands. A tough course, with plenty of bunkers, lots of water and not to mention the spectacular mountain views. If your round starts off well, don’t get too excited as “crumble corner” is waiting for you on the back nine. If after 3 rounds of golf you feel the need for a massage, please consult your hotel staff upon arrival.

Day 5:

The next 2 days you will need to flip a coin, and let us know if it’s heads or tails upon booking your trip. After breakfast you will depart for either the Clovelly Golf Club or the Arabella Golf Estate for round 4.

The Clovelly course, which is situated in the Fish Hoek Valley, boasts a unique combination of mountains, sea and lush fairways. The 5869m course is well liked by the average handicapper and becomes challenging for the better golfers in windy conditions. With no noise pollution, the silence of nature is overwhelming and is a must for all golf enthusiasts.

Arabella was designed by Peter Matkovich and is situated near the seaside town of Hermanus, approximately an hour’s drive from Cape Town. This course is both challenging and enjoyable as it naturally compliments the environment, without disappointing the amateur or professional golfer. The breathtaking backdrop and majesty of this challenging course should prove irresistible to all golfers.

Day 6:

Heads or tails and round 5 is played at either the Atlantic Beach Golf Estate or the championship course at the Erinvale Golf Estate.

Atlantic Beach is situated on the West Coast near Melkbosstrand. This links-style course is a challenging experience for any golfer. Set amidst the natural flora of the Western Cape and with Table Mountain serving as a backdrop, the course is sure to supply any golfer with a pleasant golfing experience.

Erinvale lies at the foot of the Helderberg & Hottentots Holland Mountains in Somerset West. This world-renowned course with its sweeping fairways, deep bunkers and cleverly placed water hazards will leave a lasting impression. The trademark of this course is the vast difference between the front and back nine. On the front nine, holes are mostly level with lots of water, but on the back nine you will hardly ever get a level lie. This is truly one of South Africa’s best courses.

Day 7:

After 5 straight days of golf, you will have earned a day of leisure. Whatever your interests might be, we’re sure to have something for you; whether it’s a full day Cape Point Tour or just relaxing on the beach, a shark cage dive to see the Great Whites or an extreme aerial view of Cape Town under the canopy of a parachute, a helicopter flip over the city or gliding down the dunes of Melkbosstrand on dune boards. If you’re looking for the perfect bit of BLING for your partner, your guide can arrange an exclusive diamond tour for you. In short, we’re here to help you enjoy your R & R. Remember to ask your tour guide to arrange these activities for you in advance.

Day 8:

It’s time for last minute shopping before your flight home. This afternoon you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Cape Town Airport.
