Day 2: Breakfast. Game of golf at Stellenbosch Golf Course.

Stellenbosch Golf Course – The relatively narrow fairways are lined with trees. Hole 8 (par 5) requires for instance an absolutely straight stroke in order for the ball not to land in vines or bushes. Worth mentioning is the professional driving range (with greens, bunkers and practice tees), a very well stocked pro shop and a club house which has an exquisite wine list.

Day 3: Breakfast. Game of golf at De Zalze Golf Course.

De Zalze Golf Course – One of the pleasures of golf estate living is, of course, the golf course. At De Zalze, that means an international standard course by top designer Peter Matkovich. This parklands course, overlooked by the towering Helderberg Mountains and surrounded by rolling vineyards, provides a serene setting with stunning mountain views.

Day 4: Breakfast. Game of golf at Erinvale Golf Course.

Erinvale Golf Course – At the foot of the Heldeberg and Hottentots Holland Mountains in Somerset West, lies this world-renowned course with its sweeping fairways, deep bunkers and cleverly placed water hazards. The trademark of this course is the vast difference between the front 9 and the back 9.

Day 5: Breakfast. Depart for full day Winelands Tour.

Winelands Tour (Full Day) – Depart toward the wine areas of South Africa. Toward the town of Paarl and visit of Paarl Nature Reserve and Taal monument. We make our way to Fairview for a wine tasting. This estate has 240 ha under vine and has won numerous medals especially for its excellent Chardonnay. On toward the French Huguenot town and visit of the memorial. Lunch in this charming town. (Le Ballon Rouge or Clos Cabriere). After lunch we visit one of the oldest Huguenot wine estates L`Ormarins for a tasting. Down the lovely Helshoogte pass for a visit to Stellenbosh, a charming 17th century town famous for its Cape Dutch architecture. Visit of the excellent Dorp Street Museum.

Day 6: Breakfast. Game of golf at Pearl Valley Golf Course or Paarl Golf Course.

Pearl Valley Golf Course – Pearl Valley lies within a ring of mountains formed by the Groot Drakenstein, the Klein Drakenstein and the Simonsberg. Carpeted with vineyards, the area is famously known as the heart of Cape wine country. In the history of golf – and golf course design – no man has achieved more than the world-renowned golfer Jack Nicklaus. His reputation as a hands-on designer is clearly evident at Pearl Valley. He sees it as the sum of his knowledge, representing almost 50 years of international competition and decades of designing many of the world’s most famous courses. Amateur golfers need not be intimidated by Pearl Valley’s championship credentials as each hole has been designed to offer everyday enjoyment for members whilst effortlessly rising to the challenge of major international championships through speeding up the greens, bringing the back tees into play and narrowing of the fairways.

Paarl Golf Course – Nestled at the foothills of Paarl berg with its distinctive Granite outcrops lays the scenic Paarl Golf course. Adjacent to the meandering Berg River and surrounded by the majestic Boland mountains, the Paarl Golf Course is situated in the heart of one of South Africa ‘s finest wine producing regions the Winelands.
The course offers tree-lined fairways, well positioned bunkers and an array of water hazards. This coupled with the large and well undulated bent grass greens, four different tee boxes offers a good test to all level of golfer.

Day 7: Breakfast. Game of golf at Strand Golf Course or Arabella Golf Course.

Strand Golf Course – This golf course is situated close to the sandy beaches of False Bay. Ducks and swans glide gracefully on the beautiful water-holes. It is no exaggeration to say this championship course is exposed to fresh and strong breezes and sometimes even gales. Strand is also known for its water features. The golfer will encounter no less than 11 of them during a round. The course is not overly long, especially off the club tees.

Arabella Golf Course – The theme is balance. Challenging enough to bring you back for more, enjoyable enough to make you not want to leave. The course is 6381 metres in length and has a SAGU rating of 72. It borders the largest natural lagoon in Southern Africa, and the 9th, 17th and 18th run parallel to the lagoon. Choosing a signature hole proves to be an extremely difficult task as all of the holes are well designed with spectacular views.

Day 8: Breakfast. Morning at leisure.

Check out. And depart for Cape Town Airport for flights back home.
